Imagine this…

You’ve been talking to a woman for awhile. During the conversation, you’ve received a couple of Indicators of Interest (IOIs) and think she’s attracted to you. The problem is you have to leave soon and don’t know how to ask her out on a date.

So what do you do in this situation?

Well the natural instinct is to get her number and tell her you’d like to call her sometime. Unfortunately this is a huge mistake. If you want to date this woman, then you have to set up something which will make her REALLY excited about seeing you again.

Let me explain…

While getting a woman’s number is an important part of dating, it should be your last resort, not your first. Instead to getting her number, you should set up a date right away and plan a fun-filled night.

The problem is when you ONLY grab a woman’s number you do nothing to make her EXCITED about you calling her. Instead of getting a woman’s digits, you should use what I like to call “The Extra Ticket Close”. It works like this…

During your initial conversation with this woman, talk about the different (and exciting) things that you do in your life. Every so often, mention different activities that you like to do. And then give an example of something fun you’re doing in the next couple of days.

When you mention this event, discuss how excited you are about this activity. The idea behind this technique is to seed the conversation with a glimpse into your life, while NOT being obvious you’re trying to pick her up. Now once you’ve mentioned this activity, move on to other “attraction building” routines.

Finally when your interaction comes to a conclusion, you implement the second phase of “The Extra Ticket Close”. As you’re talking to her, make it seem like you suddenly had a thought…

You tell her that you just realized that you have an extra ticket to this awesome activity that you were talking about. Then tell her “it’ll be okay if she wanted to tag along”. At this point you get her number and let her know you’ll call her with more details.

What I like about this technique is you’re getting her on a date without coming across as a needy person. In addition, since you’re assuming the close, you’ll come across as a confident and fun guy.

So if you’re stuck with what to do at the end of a conversation, simply use “The Extra Ticket Close” to seal the deal.
